Our Animals

Rudy and Apache are Gypsy Cobs. They are both geldings and they are still young. They are best buddies and have great temperaments. They were rescue horses and were found in the back of a horse box, having been left by their owners. We were only going to get 1 pony, but they’d never been separated so we decided to take both and keep them together.

Paris is a Welsh A mare and 11 hands high. She has been a great pony and competed in many events. She has a wonderful nature, so we’re able to learn on her. Willow is another Welsh A mare, she is very sensitive and loving, but was very anxious when riding. We spent a lot of time with her and now she is very calm and enjoys hacking and riding in the fields.

Flick is a 21 year old thoroughbred and cob cross mare, standing at 16 hands. She’s the mum of the herd and stands tall above all of the others. She can’t jump any more due to her age and an old injury, but she can happily hack, trot and canter. She’s a big horse, but the softest of all 5.

Dibber and Dougal are our Springer Spaniels. They are both lunatics and never stop running. Every day they come to the stables and the horses are used to them now so don’t mind them running around. Max is our border collie, we adopted him when he was 10 as he didn’t have a home when his owner died. He’s settled in really well, but spends most of his time sleeping on the back step.
